My work is driven by an interest in how digital environments can be internalized as real, lived spaces. I focus on the role of sensory perception—particularly touch—in shaping digital presence and how materiality transforms across digital and physical realms. By blending research, prototyping, and speculative design, I explore alternative ways of engaging with digital tactility and question the limitations of current immersive technologies. Through VR, interactive installations, and AI-generated environments, I aim to expand our understanding of existence in non-physical spaces.
I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Media Design Practices at ArtCenter, where I focus on the intersection of digital materiality, sensory experience, and speculative design. Previously, I studied product and UX design at Hongik University, which provided me with a foundation in material exploration and user-centered design. My work spans across disciplines, integrating technology, philosophy, and design to investigate new forms of digital presence and interaction.
